New Information: Overtime Rules— effective on January 1, 2020, new minimum salary threshold for overtime exemption under the FLSA. Under the new regulations, employees will have to earn at least $684 per week ($35,568 per year) in order to be exempt from overtime pay (C-39 - C-41);  permissible deductions from an exempt employee’s salary (C-44).n order to be exempt from overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek (C-39).
